When severe carbon fibre delamination and cracking on the thrust reverser C-Duct outer skin exceeded standard SRM allowable limits, Pt21 Solutions developed a custom repair protocol.

Damaged plies were removed, precise reinforcement layers laid down, and an advanced bonding and curing process implemented to fully restore structural integrity.

Scope of Work

  • Damage assessment against SRM allowable limits
  • Removal of damaged composite plies
  • Custom reinforcement ply lay-up
  • Advanced bonding and curing process
