275 to 521-Seat Dual-Class Reconfiguration

This programme took the aircraft from a four-class configuration (First, Business, Premium Economy and Economy) down to a streamlined dual-class layout built for maximum passenger capacity. The full IFE system was removed and replaced, every seat in the cabin was removed and re-installed (new Economy seating with integrated IFE, refurbished Business seating), and the galley and cabin systems were reworked end-to-end to support the new layout.

Scope of Work

• Removal of all Business, Premium Economy and Economy seats and associated seat-to-seat cabling
• Installation of new Economy Class seats and IFE (Zii RAVE system)
• Installation of refurbished Business Class seats
• Modification of KSSU to Atlas galleys, with new ovens and galley wiring
• Removal and reconfiguration of cabin partitions, lavatories and galleys to match the new LOPA
• New centre and outboard overhead stowage units, sidewalls, dado panels and ceiling panels
• Rework of cabin service system software, emergency lighting, PA speakers and photo-luminescent signage
• New floor carpet, curtains, raceway extrusions and seat track covers throughout
